How it works

01

Add your PDF

Drop a file in. If it has an open password, you'll be asked for it.

02

Pick format and size

PNG for crisp text, JPG or WebP for smaller files. Choose the DPI and which pages you want.

03

Convert and save

Pages are drawn one at a time in your browser. One image downloads directly; several come as a ZIP, and each can be saved on its own.

Questions

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. Pages are drawn by PDF.js running in this tab. The file and any password you type stay on your device.

Which DPI should I pick?

72 DPI matches the page size on screen, 150 is sharp enough for most slides and documents, and 300 is print quality. An A4 page at 300 DPI is about 2480 × 3508 pixels.

PNG, JPG or WebP?

PNG keeps text perfectly sharp and supports transparency but makes bigger files. JPG is smallest for photos and scans but always has a white background. WebP is usually smaller than both, and most modern apps open it.

Why was a big page made smaller?

Browsers can only draw canvases up to a certain size. Very large pages at high DPI are scaled down to about 16 megapixels so the conversion does not crash the tab; the card shows the real pixel size.
